The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD returns to many of our theatres for its third season this fall beginning with the Met’s Opening Night Gala starring Renée Fleming on Monday evening, September 22, 2008. The Met will transmit a total of eleven live and ten encore events this season from September to May.

With the exception of the Opening Night Gala, all events are on Saturday afternoons throughout the season. In addition to the 10 live Saturday exhibitions, Wednesday encore performances will also be shown.
